And we continue the Gong Yoo binge! Hehe…my friend thinks this obsession with Gong Yoo is a phase and that it will pass like it did with my brief obsession with Ji Changwook and Wallace Huo. So we shall see how far this will go~hahahahaha
Plot overview from dramafever:
Despite having a steady suitor, whose proposal she rejects, Seo Ji Woo (Im Soo Jung) continues to be haunted by a whirlwind romance she had years ago in India. Concerned his daughter will end up a spinster, Colonel Seo forces Ji Woo to seek the services of an agency specialized in locating lost loves, which is run by Han Gi Joon (Gong Yoo), a goofy and idealistic romantic. But faced with Ji Woo’s crassness and cynicism, Gi Joon quickly discovers dealing with his client is far more difficult than tracking down her mysterious lost love.

This movie is really cute. I simply adored Gong Yoo’s character, Han Gi Joon, because this is the first time I’ve seen him as a socially awkward loser lol. Okay, loser is a strong word but he’s such a dork in this. It’s really endearing. Han Gi Joon is very hardworking, idealistic, and honest.
Seo Ji Woo is really brash and straightforward. She also doesn’t like endings; She doesn’t finish the ending to books and doesn’t eat the last of something. To her, if she doesn’t finish it, then it doesn’t end. Eventually, she does get over this trait when she realizes something must end for something new to start.
Not much to say about this movie except that it’s a nice chick flick to watch on a rainy day~(well, that’s what I did on my rainy day lol). It’s lighthearted and cute throughout the whole movie. A good choice for when you’re just looking for a simple movie to watch.
Not much additional thoughts to add except I like how Gong Yoo played two roles in this movie. Getting to see both his rugged side and dapper side in one movie is such a treat lol. I’m such a sucker for everything Gong Yoo I swear. (´∀｀)♡
