Rachel, still mourning over the disappearance of her husband Vincent many years ago, drowns herself with work. Endless Beauty, as well as Cheuk Gwan Lam himself, becomes her sole purpose in life. Ringo exploits the trust Rachel has in him, also winning Cheuk Gwan Lam’s approval. Little do they know that Ringo is actually secretly conspiring with a team of talented people on the sly to steal trade secrets from large corporations for money. Ringo has been planning this for years, seeking the best opportunity to take destructive revenge on Endless Beauty.

Then Mr. Hong asks if Ringo remembers what he did with his father. Ringo has a flashback of burying a time capsule with his parents. They promised to come dig it back up together 20 years later. Ringo tells the kid he doesn’t remember.

Rachel and Ringo have to go buy some materials before visiting the elderly. They have so much fun messing around at the markets that they get a little too distracted.
The first old lady they visit mistaken Ringo for her son and Rachel as her daughter-in-law. Ringo makes her play along and they happily cook dinner for the old lady. He accidentally cuts his finger and Rachel carefully helps him bandage it up.

Cheuk Gwan Lam plans on taking over a smaller company because he’s interested in one of their products. Ringo has dug up some dirt on this company. After the acquisition, he’ll release the dirt, which will cause Endless Beauty’s stocks to tumble down. That’s when Chin Wing Tong comes in. He needs him to lend money to Cheuk Gwan Lam. If he does so, they’ll be able to take charge of the company and kick Cheuk Gwan Lam out.

That night, Mr. Hong is on the phone with Ringo, reminding him to pick him up on time so he won’t be late for his meeting with his father. He hangs up when Rachel enters. Rachel tells him they’re going to see the circus tomorrow and he’s a little upset that it has to be tomorrow.
Mr. Hong asked Ringo if his father ever promised him anything before they hung up and the question rings in his head. Ringo remembers calling his father after they get caught and his father promising to come get him and his mother as soon as possible.
The next day, Rachel, Mr. Hong, and Cheuk Gwan Lam are on their way to the circus. Rachel and Cheuk Gwan Lam get distracted cleaning up an ice-cream stain on Rachel’s jacket. Mr. Hong takes this chance to run away to the park. Rachel panics and they start looking everywhere for him.
